Design:

The obverse side of the coin futures an Indian man and the inscription “LIBERTY”. 

On the reverse side futures a Buffalo and the inscriptions: the country of issue “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA”, the purity “.9999 FINE GOLD”, the weight “1 OZ”, the face value “$50”, the words “IN GOD WE TRUST” and “Et pluribus unum”.
